Sir Nadir | Jobs Preparation| sirnadir.com

The CM Punjab Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Phase IV is open, and the last date is 9 November 2026 at 11:59 PM. The programme covers 100 percent of your tuition fee for selected students at participating universities and colleges across Punjab — and 50,000 scholarships have been announced under this programme.

Applications are online only and completely free. There is no age limit, no gender restriction, and no application fee. But there is one document that decides everything, and most applicants submit without it.

The income affidavit is mandatory. Without a family income affidavit on e-stamp paper, your application is treated as incomplete. This is the single most common reason students are rejected. Get the e-stamp paper today, not on 8 November.

Marks Required — New Students (Fall 2026, 1st Semester)

Institution typeSciencesArts / Social Sciences
Public sector universities and colleges≥ 70%≥ 65%
Public medical and dental colleges (MBBS / BDS)≥ 80%—
Federal and private universities≥ 70%≥ 65%
HED colleges≥ 65%≥ 60%

These percentages are based on your Intermediate / FSc result. For new students the merit calculation weights Matric at 30 percent and Intermediate at 70 percent.

Marks Required — Continuing Students

Continuing students are assessed on their current academic standing rather than Intermediate marks — the prescribed GPA or CGPA requirement for the discipline, plus the annual examination record. The portal shows the exact threshold for your programme.

Income Limit — Read This Carefully

CategoryMonthly family income limit
New students — public sector institutionsBelow Rs 350,000
New students — federal and private partner institutionsBelow Rs 500,000
Continuing studentsBelow Rs 350,000
The affidavit is proof, not a formality. Your stated income must match the affidavit on e-stamp paper. Do not write a figure you cannot document — verification is done through the campus focal person, and a mismatch can invalidate an otherwise qualifying application.

Documents Checklist

  • CNIC or B-Form of the applicant — front and back
  • Punjab domicile certificate
  • Matric result card or O-Level equivalence
  • Intermediate / FSc result card or A-Level equivalence
  • University or college admission proof — Fall 2026 first semester, or continuing enrolment proof
  • Family income affidavit on e-stamp paper — mandatory
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Fee challan copy where the portal asks for it
File format catches people out: every scan must be JPG or PNG and under 200 KB. A photograph taken on a phone is often 2–4 MB and will simply not upload. Compress each file before you start, not during the application.

How to Apply — Step by Step

  1. Open honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk and click Apply Now.
  2. Create an account using your CNIC or B-Form, an active mobile number and an email address.
  3. Log in and complete Personal Details — name, CNIC, domicile, contact.
  4. Complete Address details and your permanent address.
  5. Complete Education — Matric marks, Intermediate marks, institution, discipline, semester and admission date, entered exactly as printed on your documents.
  6. Enter your family income as stated on the affidavit.
  7. Upload documents. After choosing a file, you must click the upload button and wait for the success message — selecting a file does not upload it. This is the second most common failure.
  8. Review every section. Once you click Submit you cannot edit.
  9. Submit and note your application or reference number. Screenshot it.
  10. Track your status by logging in to the portal.

What the Application Statuses Mean

StatusMeaning
Submitted / PendingRegistered and waiting for focal person verification
VerifiedMarks and income documents approved by the campus coordinator
Unverified / Pending ActionA document is unreadable or wrong — re-upload immediately
Provisionally SelectedYou passed merit; an SMS will instruct you to submit physical documents
Final SelectionPhysical verification complete; the tuition fee waiver is active

Check the portal at least twice a week after submitting. “Pending Action” is the status that quietly loses scholarships — nobody calls you, and the deadline passes.

Keeping the Scholarship After Selection

  • Maintain the required CGPA each semester — commonly 2.50 to 3.00 depending on your institution’s rule
  • Maintain at least 75 percent class attendance
  • Do not transfer or migrate to another discipline without official approval
  • Do not hold another government scholarship at the same time

Scam Warning

The application is free. There is no application fee, no processing charge and no agent needed. Any website or person charging you to “register” or “guarantee selection” for the Honhaar Scholarship is running a scam. Official applications are submitted only on the PHEC portal, and nothing about the process involves paying anyone.
