Sir Nadir | Jobs Preparation| sirnadir.com

The Inter Supplementary Result 2027 for Punjab boards is expected on 12 January 2027, following the Second Annual examinations that ran from 3 November to 28 November 2026, with practicals from 1 to 11 December 2026.

This is the result that decides whether you move into your second year, whether you can apply for university admission on time, and whether you need another attempt. This page covers the expected date, all the ways to check, and what to do in each outcome.

Expected date. 12 January 2027 has been reported across the Punjab boards for this cycle. Each board announces its own notification, so confirm on your own board’s website before making plans around it.

How to Check

By Roll Number

  1. Open your own board’s result website.
  2. Find the HSSC Second Annual Result 2026 link — it may still be labelled 2026 even though it is announced in 2027.
  3. Enter the roll number from your supplementary slip.
  4. Enter the captcha and submit.
  5. Save a screenshot and a PDF immediately — day-one traffic makes these sites slow.

By SMS

Each board issues a short code, normally printed on your roll number slip. Send your roll number to that code. Use the code printed on your own slip — boards use different codes and they change between sessions.

By Gazette

The gazette is the complete result book. It is the only method that works without a roll number.

  1. Go to your board’s website after the announcement.
  2. Open the Downloads section and find the HSSC Second Annual gazette.
  3. Download the PDF and press Ctrl + F.
  4. Search your roll number first, then your full name.

What Your Result Decides

Outcome What happens next
Part-I passed You move into 2nd year. Your combined 1,100 marks form the base for university admission next year.
Part-II passed You now hold a complete Intermediate qualification and can apply for university admission.
One subject failed You are a compartment candidate. You sit that subject in the next session and lose no year if you clear it in time.
Two or more failed You will likely need to repeat the year. Plan the next annual carefully.

Important — The University Admission Window

This is the part students underestimate. Most university admission portals for the next academic year open between January and March. A result on 12 January is tight — but workable, if your documents are already in order.

Prepare documents before the result, not after. Get your Matric certificate, Part-I marksheet, CNIC or B-Form, domicile certificate and photographs ready now. The moment the result appears, you can apply on day one instead of spending a week chasing paperwork.

If You Need to Recheck

Rechecking is available for about 15 days from the result date, on the board’s own portal and with a fee per paper. Be clear about what it is:

  • It verifies that totals were added correctly and that marks were transferred to the award list properly.
  • It does not re-evaluate your answers on merit. A paper you attempted badly will not improve.

Apply only if you have a specific reason — a total that does not match your own count, or a paper marked absent when you sat it.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Inter supplementary result 2027?

Expected on 12 January 2027 across Punjab boards. Each board confirms its own date.

Will the result be called 2026 or 2027?

The examination was the Second Annual 2026, so the board may label it as the 2026 supplementary result even though it is announced in January 2027. Look for both labels.

How can I check without a roll number?

Download the gazette PDF from your board’s website and search your name with Ctrl + F.

What if I fail one subject?

You become a compartment candidate and sit that subject in the next session. If you clear it in time, you do not lose an academic year.

How long do I have for rechecking?

About 15 days from the result date, through the board’s portal with a per-paper fee.

Can I apply to university before the result?

Many universities allow provisional application while awaiting a result, subject to submitting the result later. Check each university’s admission notice — the rules differ.

Bottom Line

Result expected 12 January 2027. Check by roll number, by the SMS code on your own slip, or by the gazette PDF. Rechecking closes in about 15 days. And the most important point: get your documents ready now, because the university admission window opens within weeks and a late file costs more than a low mark.
