PPSC Sub Inspector past papers solved MCQs with explanations

PPSC Sub Inspector Past Papers – 24 Solved MCQs with Explanations

Sir Nadir | Jobs Preparation| sirnadir.com

PPSC does not publish past papers — the Commission says so in its own FAQ. Every set circulating online, including this one, is memory-based or modelled on the published paper pattern. What matters is not whether the exact question appeared, but whether you can answer that level of question in under a minute.

The Sub Inspector (BS-14) paper is the most-asked PPSC police paper in Punjab. It is 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 90 minutes, with a weightage structure that catches people out: English and Computer are worth 40 marks each, and General Knowledge only 20. Most candidates prepare backwards.

Paper Pattern — Where the Marks Actually Are

SectionMarksWhat it covers
English40Synonyms, antonyms, sentence correction/completion, one-word substitution, idioms
I.T. and Language Comprehension40MS Office, electronic record keeping, internet and email
General Knowledge20Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Islamic Studies (Ethics for non-Muslims), Fundamental Rights, Geography, Basic Maths, Urdu
This is the single most useful fact on the page. 80 of the 100 marks sit in English and Computer. Candidates who spend six weeks on Pakistan Studies and one week on English lose — even though Pakistan Studies feels like the “important” subject. Prepare in proportion to the marks.
